The Family Business A series of curated confessions. No authorisation requested.

The Files

The Family Business is a series of standalone, darkly comic novellas — each one a confession, a contingency file, or a playbook in disguise. These stories unfold through found documents, encrypted notes, and the reluctant involvement of one man: Leo Ormonde.

There is no hero.
Just good paper, bad timing, and the occasional cannoli.

Goat

‘Power doesn’t always shout. Sometimes it signs the ledger. Sometimes it sends a goat.’

Luca’s Lost Page

Free PDF Download: This page was found wedged behind a clay workshop flyer at the Brooklyn Arts Centre. It contains:

  • Chair-related stress
  • A goat (possibly metaphorical)
  • Dario, delivering motivational speeches without permission

Includes coffee stains, mild panic, and a free therapist recommendation.

Filed under: “Emotional Escalation: Early Stage”.
Recovered by Leo Ormonde. Released against better judgement.
